Tells him George Doran is planning to publish L.I. Guiney's letters and asks if he wants his included. [2] 1924, December 7, Boston [2 p. with envelope].--George Doran is not going to do the Guiney letters. He should write to Grace Guiney about a photograph. [3] 1926, October 21, Newburyport, Mass. [1 l. with envelope].--Sends book [Robert Louis Stevenson; a study by Alice Brown with a prelude & a postlude by Louise Imogen Guiney]. [4] 1927, April 18, Boston [1 l. with envelope].--She sends him a book. [5] 1929, March 13, Boston [2 p. with envelope].--Says that if he would write to Grace Guiney she might be able to obtain a photograph of Louise Imogen Guiney for him.

Louise Imogen Guiney was born on January 7, 1861 in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Patrick R. Guinea, an Irish-born American Civil War officer and lawyer, and Jeanette Margaret Doyle. She was educated at the Notre Dame convent school in Boston, Massachusetts and Elmhurst Academy of the Sacred Heart in Providence, Rhode Island. Her father died in 1877, a result of the significant injuries he had sustained in the war. Guiney graduated two years later, and would spend the next 20 years living in Boston ...
